I have made self bows for decades, but just picked up a Bingham recurve kit and decided to try making a fiberglass backed bow. Any alternative ideas for tools or procedures, as an alternative to a drill press and bandsaw? Anyone used a hand drill? I have a Dewalt drill and the sanding drums will fitAny ideas? Thanks in advance.
Chris,
I can't say it is impossible to build a Bingham kit bow without a band-saw or drill press but the tools sure do make things easy and fast. One of the best build alongs I have ever looked at is this one.

The only power tools used was a hand drill and a sander.Depending on your skill with hand tools and the amount of time you have, you can make it happen...The only problem is after you build one you wont be able to stop and you may want to think about getting some extra tools if you have the space. Hope this encourages you more than discourages you.
