This is my first attempt at a glass bow.
It is 43lbs@26", 64"NTN.
It has Red Elm limb cores with Tulip wood veneers. The riser is Cocobolo.
It shoots great with no hand shock and is super quiet.
I'll put a black leather grip on it but I just wanted to show the Cocobolo first.
Thanks,
Mark

Sorry Mark. I don't believe you.
That looks great! My first one sure didn't look that good.
Looks great - I would have to shoot it without the leather!
Mark shoot me an e-mail and I'll send you a fool proof way of putting on a leather grip. forlogons at gmail dot com.
Nice looking bow.
Looks great.
Mark that is one fine looking bow. Really nice choice of woods.
It looks even better up close. Mark really did a fine job on it. John, it really was his first glass bow. You should see his self-bows, they look even better.
at the risk of sounding completely random, are you a lefty?
Outstanding job.
What a nice job! Beautiful bow!
Man that is outstanding!! Great choice on the riser and veneers- The design looks alot like one I have in my collection (from Greg)
Thanks Guys I appreciate the compliments but really I was just a student. It was my first glass bow but it is Greg's design and he did most of the work in his shop. This was more of a lesson from from from an awesome bow builder.
Check out the other bow he made for me(in a bow swap) in the Elk hunting Utah thread.
Mark
sweet bow! nice work!
Trux,
It's off the same form as your bow.
Mark,
I still think you did most of the work.
Wow Outstanding Job. Beautiful bow
Greg's just messin with me. Not true. There is no way I could have even come close to doing that.
Nope, not a lefty.
SAWEEEET ! Man if this is your first glass bow, then I wonder how they will look if you get good at this... LOL

This is a sinew backed osage recurve that Mark built for me. It is one sweet shooting bow, It's going hunting with me next week. Deer, elk, bear, wolf, turkey, and grouse are all open. I'm hoping to put it to use.

Very nice.
Thanks guys I'll take a little credit for the recurve but I owe the LB to Greg.
I'm still checking out that new front door, I need to do the same to my house.
I may yet get another lesson from him, we are thinking an all Yew LB for my wife.
Mark
