You might want to ask Kelly if he would be willing. I think he will home around october and making up for lost time with his family.

Bow building season, at least for me, does not start until the end of whitetail and kitty seasons so I will bow out too (like stick's the pun was intended).

It was tuff enough getting all the bow's done for the first swap, let alone a bow build during hunting season. But if it flies, I'll prolly join in.

Kelly did do a fine job, but I wonder if he has any hair left, as many folks were late with their bow's. And I believe 3 or 4 are no show's.

I'm not hunting, but it feels like too much activity.   A lot of folks will need a breather from the high volume of posts and the intensity of their building efforts.   Also, can't imagine the stress involved in being behind the eight ball on a bow build at Christmas, with all the family stuff going on then.   "Put up the tree?  Sorry, dear, but I've gotta work in the shop..."    Lots'a luck!     :)

If it gets off the ground I can keep track. No issues there. I want get in this on either. I know I will have a lot of honey do's, but keeping track should be simple enough. Just let me know if ya get it off the ground.

I've just putting the finishing touches on conditioning my wife to the idea that this year I need to spend more time in the woods during hunting season.

Next up is warming her up to the idea of the next swap by January's sign up.  This year ended with some nasty words as the honey-do list was postponed while I finished a bow for another woman.

I'm afraid I won't have much time to do one by Christmas, and if I found the time it would be because I was single again...

Heading west in a couple weeks for elk, when I get back from that trip our archery season opens, then it's turkey season, then deer again.  That won't leave much time for building a bow.  I'll have to pass on this one as I'm not a fast builder......Dan
