Title: drum sander
Post by: matts2 on August 04, 2011, 10:45:00 AM
There is a Ryobi drum sander for sale in my area and was curious if anyone is using this one.  Its a 16/32 and don't think its made anymore.  The seller is asking $250 for it and wondering if it was worth it.

My gramps has one...its a fair price.  If I remember the paper can be a little difficult to get on, but otherwise no problems with his.  I would probably pick it up.

It comes with the stand and a bunch of new paper.  Its been for sale for a while and the price has dropped a couple times.  Might see what I can do.

Man.. I would snap that up.  Been looking at getting one of those.  That is a good deal.  Ryobi has got to be better than Grizzley brand.

Bring him 200 cash.. he will take it!

Matt,
I have been using that model for about ten years. It is one of the most used time savers in the shop. I grind lams on it also. I had never had any problems with mine. That is a fair price. You should buy it!
