Here's the start of the wifes bow, it is going to be somewhere around 25-30#. I am trying something new. Pink camo material onder clear glass on the back and white glass on he belly.
The riser is plain hard maple that we plan on painting either white or black.

I like camo!
My daughter would love the pink camo limbs.
Three daughters and a wife, I'm thinking I could get some excitement around here with that idea.
Just fabric under clear glass? Could you share some more details on how a person does that? Are you using smooth-on and it just saturates the fabric?
I got the cloth from a fabric store, I think it is cotton, and yes I used smooth-on just like laying up veneers, i made sure it was soaked real good both sides. The cloth was about .010 so I just counted it in my stack.

I got the limbs shaped, mounted and rough sanded to check weight and it is 26# @ 28". Not bad at all. The way I did the tip overlays I can shorten the bow if I need more weight after final sanding, I was shooting for 25-30# so it is right there. The stack was for a 14" riser and a 60" bow but I decided to make the riser 15" instead so If I need to up up the weight I'll just shorten it a little.
