Starting next year in January I will be offering one on one bow building classes. This will be a five day bow making class in my shop in Arkansas, you will learn my style of bow making and make a sinew backed or selfbow which ever you choose and it will be yours to keep as well as roughed out one to take home and finish. I will teach you to sinew, rawhide as well as snake back bows, heat bend staves tiller all wood bows as well as shooting tips. You will have to provide for your self lodging in town, about five minutes from the shop,I have two places that have good rates and have breakfast at the motel, lunch will be provided here at the shop by Miss Lisa. Depending on the time you book your class I can teach you fur trapping as well as fur handling as well as how to collect and process rawhide and sinew.
This will be limited to one or two classes class per month so space is limited. You can call me @ 479-474-3800 Don't wait until January to book because of the limited space.
The cost of this one week class is $1500.00

I was looking for something on page two and saw this for the first time. How did I miss it? That would be an awsome experience!
Is there anything to hunt there in January?

Mike, where is your shop? In Van Buren or Ft. Smith?
North of Van Buren about three miles out of town.

How about just one day and making a very unique horn bow or at least getting me started  I can say that my wife is giving me fits with me always leaving the **** page with gemsbok horn on it. If I wasn't on a tight budget I would love to spend some time watching and learning.
None the less I would say that if you were to attend you would get the biggest twang for your buck. I kill myself :biglaugh:

great idea Mike! Anyone that has seen or shot one of your Pronghorn killers knows that you can teach them the right way to make a bow.
Good luck!

Got any extra cards I could use....I'll give it back. :dunno:
Hey me too! I mean, if your taking somebody else's credit card then I'm in! Maybe me and Keith can get a package deal? :goldtooth:
Now you do this... :banghead: What about local yocals that won't need room and board? By the way I am going to be picking up one of your black locust staves here in the near future. I'll call ya.
