Title: Carbon Arrow Nock Sizes
Post by: William F. Adams on June 26, 2011, 09:56:00 AM
I'm working towards getting Carbon Express Heritage arrows  (probably 150s) but am currently shooting some unmarked CE arrows from Wal-Mart.

I was using Bohning Signature Nocks on a 12-strand endless loop string but they were still too tight, though not as tight as the TCX nocks, I started w/.

I've since switched to a 15-strand 3-bundle Flemish string purchased from 3 Rivers (Thanks!) and am trying Gold Tip (GT?) nocks which are working, but still tighter than I like.

Can someone suggest nocks w/ a larger throat size?

Tried using a piece of sand paper folded over to make them a tad wider?

Could also reserve the string with something a little smaller diameter.

Or you could keep shooting it and see if it wears the serving down a little bit and kinda smashes it togather.
