Title: Carbon lam question
Post by: StoneAK on June 24, 2011, 08:14:00 PM
When placing carbon in a T/D recurve Limb do I need to remove any of my lams or just add the .020 carbon to the lams? I guess what I am trying to say is just add the carbon right into my lams or remove some to add it?

Sorry for the confusion

You need to remove more core than the carbon you put in I'm thinkin, maybe someone with carbon exp will help ya out!

I have used it a couple of times and always remove the carbon thickness off the core.

If your carbon is say .020,then you need to grind your lam off .020.
