Title: Happy Customer
Post by: Bob Sarrels on June 23, 2011, 11:08:00 PM
Here's a Puma Recurve - Bocote riser, Figured Myrtlewood limbs - that we just finished for a customer in West Texas.  He was a happy camper, as was I.

I thought this one came out really nice.

That is the hottest looking myrtle wood I've ever seen!

I like it myself.  Had 2 boards that I was getting these lams out of.  Don't know if I will see anymore.  Hid one set of lams to put on #1000 in October.  That one is for me.

LOL @ Bob. I've never been able to keep a set of lams for myself. Ha ha. Last time I tried I built a set of limbs and messed them up and had to use mine. GRRRRRR. That sure is pretty wood though. You don't see much myrtle with that kind of contrast.
God bless you, Steve

Stunning Bob!!!!!      Looks awesome.  Mine is a dream to shoot just like the others are.   1,000 huh maybe you can finally retire 100 or give it to Zack.

Think I will hang on to ol #100 Shawn.  It has been a great bow for me for many years , even after I ran over it with my truck.  Been shooting it for 7 years since that small mishap.  Did have to do a little refinishing tho.  ya think.  Guess Zach will get her when I am gone.
