Well, here's the product of all the trouble i been stirrin up round here ;) My boss (the principal) has been takin a lot of heat (I mean A LOT) from the higher ups, so i figured he oughta be more prepared for future meetings! Presented to him the last day of school, signed on the back by the high school staff.
Here are the specs: 68" ttt, 67" ntn, 52# @ 28", 1-3/4" fades to mid-limb, then tapers to 1/2" tips. 5/8" thick to 1/2" midlimb to tips. Wound up with about 1/16" positive tiller, feels good shootn. I initially heated in about 3/4" of reflex, wound up with about 1-1/4" string follow for a total of 2" of set. I'm leaving it because the weight is where I wanted it and i don't think he cares. Hickory board with some heartwood coloration. Heartwood overlays on the tips.
Sorry for picture quality, time for a phone upgrade. She's much more stunning in person. Hope you don't mind the abundance of pics, but she's going away and i want to remember her well!
Any and all critique is welcome!

Sorry for the large pics. I cropped em on photobucket and replaced images but for some reason it's sourcing to the originals. Oh well.
Wow that sure is nice. Good tiller too (from an unexperienced eye)
Very nice!
She looks good to me....That money pic looks really good from here. I got me an iphone about a month ago and like it real well.
That tiller is spot-on. Excellent job. :)
thanks guys, it really means a lot. i didn't have her to full draw when presented to the bossman(about 3 inches left), but felt confident she'd pull in on target and she did. Just finished applying beeswax finish (after 5 or so applications of teak oil), and she's now ready for delivery. I may take her up to cabelas for one final test run ;) before I give her over. I'm gonna miss her!
simple and beautiful
Thanks Kelly, that's exactly what i was shootin for. That's what draws me to this whole bowyering thing rather than wheelies anyway! Again, y'alls comments are much appreciated:)
Well done! Jawge
very nice job. thanks for sharing
I hope my next one comes out that nice!
Bill
Beautiful tiller. Well done.
Wow, i'm very humbled by the kind comments of the "seasoned" bowyers ;) . Means a lot! Can't w8 to do more like this!
