Are there any bowyers in the Baton Rouge, LA area that can tell me of sources of clear, straight grained Hickory, Pecan, Ash or other bow wood boards nearby? I have tried Hardwood Lumber Sales in Zachary, Service Lumber in Baton Rouge. Hogan Hardwoods in Baton Rouge has closed down.
Any help would be appreciated.
Search craigslist and google. I found a great supplier for hickory that way. Gotta be one in your area I would think.
