So these past few weeks have been a blur. My wife had our son. I had a few days off to be with the wife and our son and she gave me some play time in the garage during naps. Here is my last couple weeks in picture format. The bow is 1" at the widest and around 7/8" at the handle down to 1/2" at the tips 62" long. The draw knife a buddy of mine made out of an old broken saw blade I had from a sawmill. That thing will shave hair... if I had any. My son was 8.4lbs at birth and 22 1/4" :) Good news is I found a new use for a respirator that I use for bow buiding :biglaugh:

Stan

That boys got way yonder more hair than his daddy!! Congratulations on your new huntin buddy! :biglaugh:
Congrats on the youngin Goose, he's gonna grow up thinking his daddy was an astronaut. You know they imprint on the first things they see....right? :goldtooth:
If you get ahold of any old old saw blades they make great knife blades and broadheads also.
My dad made some knives back in his day and he used the blades from the old crosscut saws, I still got a few of his knives hoarded away and they are so sharp they even scare me.
Congrats on the new adition.
Won't be long you'll be makin little bows.
Congrats Goose.
Congratulation, Goose! Jawge
Congratulations on the birth of your son. May God Bless him.
Goose - Congrats on your baby boy!!!
I know that smell too and pics like that remind me how glad I am that my diaper changing days are over. Most baby animals don't have any scent so as to keep predators away. I guess we humans took a different survival tactic - have babies that stink so bad they'd make a hyena puke.
congrats goose. mine just turned 2 april 15th , and seeing those pics made me think of when he was a tiny little bird. enjoy every second you can brother , its gone in a blink...
bow looks nice too , a little big for the guy , but i guess he'll have a little room to grow into it..
