where to get 1/2" band saw blades i have burned up to many other blades trying to make self bows im looking for 1/2" 4tpi if i can find it thanks and any tips or tricks would be great

I highly recomend the "Timber wolf" blades in 4 TPI
you can resharpen them when they get dull too.

hi if you have Menards store near you try them i purchased several my size wasn't made anymore but found a 72" blade mine called for 72.75 had plenty of tension adjustment room left and say money. blade was made i think for a shopsmith saw. lawrence
The Lowes around here carry Bosch blades. I get Olson blades at a small hardware store near me.

there are some resaw specific blades you should be able to get in widths of an inch or more.

I like the Woodslicer blade for slicing laminations,I have not used it to ruff out a selfbow,But think it may have a short life as it has no set in the teeth. I do like the Timberwolfs. Highlands GP blade is also a good value for GP cutting.
