Here is a knife that I made for a friend. The blade is striped obsidian from Glass butte and the base is sage brush with a zebra wood Y holder. Keenan

WOW!!! That's beautiful...
Now there is something to pass down to the kids or grandkids.
Beautiful!
UNBELEIVABLE!!!! You are truly gifted.
Very nice. Any closeups of the blade?
Vermonster, I will try some more the close ups that I took are fuzzy. Still trying to learn how to get the obsidian close ups to come out right. Seems ok on most other things but hard to get the definitions of the obsisian. Keenan
I like the blue glow in the first pic. Very cool the way the color comes through.
you are one clever son of a gun good on ya bro :notworthy:
You're a good friend to give that away.
That is too cool, pure art.

Beautiful!!! How do you attach it to the antler handle? I wish I was that talented. I have a big mess of antlers I need to do something with.
sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!
THAT is Outstanding to Unreal, Keenan, and Beautemous to boot!!! :clapper:
Thanks Guys, Willie, If you take and boil the antler for about twenty minutes or so it will soften the bone maro and you can push the tang of the blade in. When cool it will be firmly attached. Keenan
Great piece of work!
