Title: What Glue?
Post by: Stump73 on April 19, 2011, 12:07:00 AM
I've tried to use the search menu (with no success) to find out what glue would be best to attach a floppy rest  and leather grip to my first self bow? I want one that is easy to remove with out damaging finish if I need to replace it. Thanks Mike

contact adhesive- or barge cement (same thing)
holds leather very well- rough the bow side a little bit, and you will get a better grip on that side- but it is replaceable- and the glue- with a little effort can be rubbed /scraped off the bow easily enough, and new one fitted.
