Ooooo....that is slick! I like the sharp contrast in wood colors. :)
Thank you I am a sucker for contrasting woods
:clapper:
Looks very nice... How are the limbs coming? or are you using limbs you already have?
I am waiting on laminates to come in and the mounting hardware.
I got the laminates and hardware in today so I will hope to have this baby ready by the weekend
I can't wait to see it finished. I love the different woods too. Keep us posted on the finishing.
Stone, here is my form for takedown limbs.

I like that set up do you have some diagrams or some more pics from different angles?
The limb design is from Binghams 68 inch pronounced takedown longbow. The form is made from 3/4 inch birch plywood, two layers glued and screwed together.
I like it. One more question when you ordered from Binghams did it take a long time to get your order?
the form looks pretty good,if you take metal bands and put on both sides of glass keeps everything smooth ,also if you wrap it in plastic saran wrap you don't get glue all over your form, also the blue painters tape works well if you put it first on the limbs ,just peels off after you cut the limbs.
My order came in a week. I have glass on the bottom of the form. And plastic wrapped on the lams.
I ordered from binghams and it finally came almost a month later. I called Kenny M tonight and I will be ordering some lams from him in a day or so. He is a super nice guy and was real helpful.
i ordered from binghams, and it took about 2 weeks, but i am here in canada, on an island- so real good time , i thought- for what we are used too.
Nice job Lester! Can't wait to see the finished product.
you'll remember the fist one always....have fun with it bro....
Chris- Thank you very much I am excited but not trying to rush it. I am building about 4 bows at one time so I can bounce back and forth.
Kirk- I know what you mean I have my first longbow sitting in my work shop as a reminder of how far I have come and how much I have learned along the way from all you guys Thanks
