heres my first r/d bow. it's a bbh, 66 ntn, limbs are 1 1/4 inches wide for almost the full length and then taper the last 6 inches to 1/2 inch tips. the handle is 1 inch wide and 2 inches deep with a small shelf cut in. it's 49#@28". i sprayed it with black lacquer except for the osage tips. i sewed on a light colored leather handle for contrast. i'm really happy with it. no handshock whatsoever and quiet without string silencers. i named it blackjack. Looks like a winning
I love the color coordination all the way down to your sweats. You need a black dew rag though :) Nice looking bow. I love black bows.

Good looking bow Don!
Nice bow, Don. I like the curves of that R/D style.
Stan :saywhat:
I love it Don, and I really like the shape. That's what my bows will be leaning towards from here on out now that my caul is done.
Nice Job!
thanks everybody. semo, my caul was just a 2x4 with two 2 inch pieces of pvc attached and a few u-bolts. i had to try something that was within my budget. which is very little. don
You and me both Don. I got my 2x8x8' boards at Lowes for less than $5 bucks each. Everything else I already had in my garage to the entire project cost me $15 bucks. It works great.
