Ok guys, I've been experimenting a bit with a new form for a bow with a pronounced deflex/reflex profile. This is what I came up with...

The limbs are made of cherry and canary wood veneers. For the riser I used zebrawood. Shoot it the first time today and was positively surprised by how smooth she's shootin', although the draw weight is pretty high.
Hope I can finish the bow next week.

For those of you who don't know, I'm a big fan of Sergio Leone and by now you probably figured out what names the next two bows will have...

VERY NICE!!! I bet its a Real Shooter too!! GOOD JOB !!! :notworthy: :notworthy: :archer2:
Andy,
how much reflex and deflex does your form have? I'm in the process of reworking a r/d form right now and am just curious what you ended up with.
Hi K30bowfisher,
the form is 64" long and has about 2" deflex and 4" reflex. The next one will be 62" long and will end up with 3.4" reflex.

If you follow the pattern with the names, the next two (bad and ugly)they will definitely be misnamed. I don't think you could make anything bad or ugly if you tried. I too like the Sergio Leone films.
Wait 'til you see !

Very Nice!
Now she's ready for action...

Nice bow. Is that a sika skull?
Hi Steve,
the skull is a red deer, a species that is very common in central europe.
