Title: Wanting to try building a take-down longbow

I enjoy making all-wood laminated longbows and would like to make a take-down model.  There are several different ways to do this (bolt, slide, etc.) and I am looking for everyone's advice on which is the best method to use and why.

I'm sure you'll hear from advocates for each system.  My own preference is the Connexion hinge.  I've done a number of them now, from scratch and converting finished bow, and I like 'em.  Have an extensive "hinge along" posted if you want to walk through the installation:
