lol thanks for the very kind words . i enjoy this hobby... or addiction
Is that a "bend through the handle", Ken, or does it just look like it might be to these ol' eyes?
Very nice Ken...you are cranking them out down there!
Very Nice !!!! Do you use a form or clamps and hold downs ?
Pete
thanks ya'll. yes this one bends through the handle
That is way too stinkin cool Man!!
that's a beauty. could you go into a bit more detail on how you glued it and got the overall shape?
Ken! Your kill'n me! The beautiful bows, the beautiful weather...augh!
thanks !! john i glued one 1/8th lam of hickory two of hard maple and set a 2 inch block under the handle and five inch blocks under tips after that just cut out narrow i think 1 1/8th with slight taper. the handle got two more short lams to thicken it some. 14 and 12 inch long if i remember right
Love the profile. Nice bow.
thanks James
Ken, your bows are always well tillered, but the lines of this one when unstrung & braced are my favorite. May have to try something similar for myself in the near future. Great job!
