Came home today and my wife handed me the slip from the Post Office. It said I had a package and it was from PatB. At first it didn't sink in. Told my wife this was from the guy that I'm always seeking bow building advice from on tradgang and couldn't figure what he would be sending me. Then all of a sudden it hit me. Could I be so lucky as to be recieving the bow PatB built. I hightailed it to the PO and sure enough it was a long PVC tube waitin for me. How could one man be so lucky to recieve a bow from Bert Frelink in last years trade and one from PatB this year. I'm sure most of you as well as myself followed PatB's build along so everyone knows what the bow looks like but I couldn't resist a few pics. Pat it's a real sweeeet bow and shoots as well as it looks. I'm happier than a pig in slop.

Awsome right there!
That's tremendous! You're one lucky dog
The arrow anchoring on your face says it all!
Lucky man!
I wanted to tell you so bad when you PMed me the other day. I had to bite my tongue. So glad you like her and she shoots well for you. This was my first time using elm and it won't be my last.
She looks good in your hand too! d;^)
Lucky you!
your a lucky dog paul,i like the pics you took. pat you make one awesome bowhopefully i will get to pauls new bow, in person. ruddy
You're right gang I am very lucky to recieve a bow from PatB. Pat I'm not sure if you named her while you were building but I think an appropripate name would be "Lucky" Can't wait till I get home from work today and shoot her some more. I'm going to the Dixie Deer Classic tomorrow. I had planned on shooting in the archery tournament. I'll be toting this beauty around tomorrow
Couldn't help but post my favorite pic again. (the one that says made for Kodiakkid)

Thanks for all the nice compliments on the bow gang I appreciate it and I'm sure Pat does too. God Bless, Paul<><
"Lucky" would be a good name for it! Now that I know what this Bow Swap thing is, I am signing up for next years. It has been fun watching it unfold and seeing all the different levels/types of bows folks build, very cool.
I always wanted a Pat B bow. And an Eric K bow. Your a lucky man.
I am truly happy for you, friend Paul, couldn't have gone to a more deserving guy, IMO. See ya (and her) at Sissipaha on the 19th? Wanta ride shotgun for me, Ruddy? (Perhaps one of us can get Paul in a deep conversation and the other can grab "her" and run like a scalded rabbit - ;) )
There was a time when I think I could have probably out-sprinted paul (at least for the "short haul and hide") but now I'd most likely have to just be the "talker' and let Ruddy be the "grab-it 'n rabbit" - :D
i'll ride shotgun bernie, ya aint gotta ask me twice. ruddy
Sweet looking bow.
That's awesome, congrats Kodiak Kid great looking set up and it appears that you shoot it quite well as evidence from the arrow sticking out of the heart region on that 3D buck!
A fine specimen as always Pat.
When do I get mine? :D
Paul, "Lucky" would be a great name for her. A name never came to me like they usually do so I guess she wanted you to name her!
Bernie did suggest "Who's Your Daddy Now" but not until she was already in the mail.
Pat great craftsmanship, and Kodiak it sure looks good in your hand , looks like it puts an arrow where you are looking. "LUCKEY" is a fine name for this bow.
LOL - I think both names have about the same meaning - in this case, Paul is sure to take good care of her, and vice-versa.
Very nice as always!!!
Pretty Sweet!!! Enjoy it.
i'm jealous!!! congrats on the new bow. it sure looks sweet.
Great bow, Pat! And you are one lucky son, Kid!
Stan
Cool Beans looks like a good bow:)

Pat I bet you were hating to give this one up. I've been thinking I ought to send it back. :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
Ain't she purdy hanging there on that pole out by my shop next to my target at my house. (key word MY)

It still hasn't sunk completly in how lucky I am.
looks like you got her tuned and ready to rock kid
OK Paul,I'm not responsible for arrows or arrow repairs! d;^)
Geeze, that's pretty lame, Pat - seems the least you could do - ;) :goldtooth:
