Here are some pics of my first osage bow. 62" NTN ?# at 28 inches. I think its between 35-45 pounds.

On the full draw pic the limb to the RIGHT is the upper limb and bends a little more. The upper limb is also 1 inch longer.

Did you flip the tips? Or is that just the way the tree grew? Or is the picture decieving?

right limbs looks like it has a flat spot on the inner half

The whole bow is flat bellied. Yes I flipped the tips.

the tips aren't flipped, thats about 10-12" down, don't quite understand that

The tiller looks good for that stave. Where you intending to reflex the last 10 inches? Jawge

wasnt trying to be a smart_ss  :)  just not a big fan of that type of hitch in a limb that far down, if your gonna flip the tips do just that, will give it a much smoother draw and look more eye appealing  ;)

Yea I reflexed it at about 7 inches down. It was just an experiment. I am thinking of reflexing the whole thing because it came in a little light. I should probly just be happy it didnt explode in my face and it didnt take any set.

Take this as constructive criticism only.  I have seen several bows with that kind of bend almost at midlimb.  It's a new one to me.  Did I miss something?  New design?  I highly recommend you do a simple flatbow design until you get tillering down. Then you can experiment.  You are injecting way to many variable to learn on.

Tiller is pretty far off.  The left limb is stiffer than the right.  The right is flat in the inner third and outer third and hingy in the center.  I would work on getting tiller perfect before you do anything else.

Look at the angles formed by your string and the limbs.  The right is nearly 90 degrees while the left is not close to 90.
