I am pretty new at all this and get lost in a lot of these threads with all the acronyms being used. Is there a list on here or can we start one that defines what they all are?
If you guys will list all you can think of. I will update this post with them.
Thanks
H = HICKORY
O = OSAGE
I - IPE
B - BAMBOO
NTN - NOCK TO NOCK
B - ALSO MEANS "BACKED"
Example - BBO is a bamboo backed osage
TBIII - TITEBOND GLUE
Hopefully that helps you out some
Thanks, that a great start
TBIII glue

The one that gave me the most trouble was HBHHB, Hickory Backed Hop Horn Beam.

ELB - English Long Bow

Well, I see I'm not alone.
Give it a week or so of floating around here and all of it will add up quick.
CA glue is super glue.
there is TBII and TBIII both titebond glues.
TBBI, TBBII, TBBIII and TBBIV these are traditional bowyers bibles volumes one thru four.
Well this helps a ton! Thanks for asking! Other than the glues and trad bibles and TTT I was lost for the longest time,lol.
