this is an ELB 71"ttt 70"ntn 55@28 maple backed garapa. garapa is a cheap version alternative to ipe. so the sales lady said. tips and arrow pass are cow horn hoof form a farm supply store.(non smoked ones). handle is built up with leather to give it the bulbous look I like so well. grip is black leather from a goodwill skirt. and string is dacron b50. hope you like it. Very nice-looks like a shooter for sure.
Sweet looking bow, Garapa Gold, I've used it on a deck, looks great on a bow. Heavy wood, tough on tools, went through lots of drill bits.

Great job on the bow. The arrows look good too.
Awesome lookin bow. I really like those ELB styles. I got a maple backed cherry goin right now, my first time tryin maple as a backing, looks like it worked good for you.

Butch, yep thats the stuff. the place I went to has afromosia too, hmmmmm, I see another bow in the works. lol. ya Bill I love the d bows too. not just d-bellied d-bows but all d-tillered bows. something about the continuous curve that is hypnotic. lol. thanks again everyone. thanks everyone for the kind words. Full draw slow to come. snow and lots of work getting in the way. Eric
Very nice job.
Very sweet looking bow! How does it shoot?
Thank you TREESLEEPER. NYArrow it shoots great as far as I know. I am a newbie archer. It is faster than my bbh bow I got off of that big auction site. and I dont feel any difference in handshock. thanks for the compliment.
Great Job!
I love the simplicity and nice clean lines, you really did good on that bow. I made myself a plain jane flat bow out of a really ugly Osage stave that I had with nothing on it other than a leather handle wrap and a string, right now it's one of my favorite ones and most fun to shoot. Who knew something so simple could give a guy so much pleasure?
looks like a fun bow to shoot. Can I try it, Please? Nice job ,I like the maple back
Great job , a fine looking bow.
