Title: DID I GO THROUGH A RING ? PART TWO
Post by: kansas stik man on February 09, 2011, 05:51:00 PM
Here are some more pictures that i took the pencil on the side is the early rings as you can see the top one is very close and i have pretty well decided that what needs to happen is that the late ring on top now needs to be taken off to the next.  i had a few guys say it looked like i went through 3 or 4 rings but i went back and looked and am sure i didnt.  some suggested lunar rings witch i have no idea what they are. i also made a crude drawing to try and help, taking pics is really hard.  well let me know what ya think fellas. I can see what you're saying now. Going to next ring would be wise. Very nice stave also. Should make you a nice bow.....Art

I agree, go down a ring.  Sweet piece of wood.  Lunar rings are basically monthly rings.  They are more obvious on some pieces than others.  (http://sticknstring.webs.com/photos/2011-Pictures/lunar%20rings.jpg)
