Can someone tell me what "mollies" are?
Wow! :notworthy:
Bona, Molle's and Holmegaard bows are similar in style but differ quite a bit(if tha makes since). Both are ancient designs and are very efficient designs.
thanks bona , thanks Aram, mollegabet's are bows found in denmark they have a longer lever shorter working limb than holmies. im currently trying to get a freind to join trad gang that has done extensive work and expirements with this design as well as others .he is the one that introduced myself and others to these. thanks Pat, i can build the heck out of them but really havent done much research to their history
Looks great. I've been wanting to try one of those with some osage.
dvs thanks ive got one osage core spliced up now that im gonna hickory back and try a molle with it should be a screamer
That's a sweet bow Ken! Someone's gonna have a great time with that one.
Thanks for explaining guys. Holmegaard I've seen and read about but I've never read about the mollegabets before. See, you learn something new almost everyday!
Thats a very cool looking Bow. Talent is what that is. Now if it could be drawn 29" it would be Fantastic.<><

Tell us about that string. Hard to tell from the pics but looks like a Flemish looped on top and tied on bottom? Love the red and black!
CJ

Interesting bow, Ken. Very handsome. Your string is artificial sinew? The only colors I've seen that in is black or gold. Did you add color some way?
Stan

Thanks, Ken.
Stan
