Hello!
Have a glass/boo long bow idea in mind.
I'm thinking of a very forward handle design that would incorporate highly reflexed limbs.
Is there a "rule" as to how far/much the limbs can move without breaking?
As in..if you have 18" of working limb (on each end of the bow) you can let the limb tips travel a 12" long path while swinging from unstrung to braced to full draw. Anymore tip travel than that from this length working limb and it WILL break.
I hope my question makes sense.
Thank you very much!

It might if I understood it.
God bless you in your search.
Too much reflex and the bow becomes unstable possibly wanting to flip around.
Well, That wouldn't be good.
hhhmmm.
Your best bet is to build one and see what happens...
Happy hunting,
Jason
That is the direction I am leaning to as well.
How much 'reflex' do you want?

Thank you Rob.
That's a good point.
I bet materials and design have a little to do with that being able to work.....lol
Good thinkin food though.
Thank you
