Title: Matching Carbon/glass back to all glass belly thickness
Post by: Zradix on January 15, 2011, 03:06:00 PM
Hi All!

Thinking about making my first bow.

I want to try a r/d longbow.

If I were to use this stack back to belly...
(.03 UL glass, .02 Uni carbon, .04 Par. A-boo, Riser, .04 Par A-boo, 0.??? UL Glass)

What thickness of glass should I put on the belly?

Thank you

OK
Thank you!

I didn't know if there is a rule that the back and belly glass had to be equal.

Thanks

don't think there is a rule about glass being equal, I have heard of guys using both 050 and 040 on same bow..I have been using 040 glass back and belly on R/D bows under 50 lbs
