A lady I work with has a husband that is a local news reporter. She told him about my bows and he sent a photographer to shoot a story in my shop for the local pre-news show.
He questioned and filmed me for over an hour for a 2 or 3 minute segment to be aired tomorrow between 5:30 and 6:00pm. He took a lot of film for two minutes so I hope he edits out some of the goofy stuff I said.
PatB, "Flip - Flop" from last years BOWYERS BENCH BOW SWAP might get some air time too as I had it in with my bows as we did the interview. By the way, I am hunting with that bow until meat is on the table. Too little time and too little luck so far this season.
If anyone can get WSAZ you might watch the segment tmorrow evening and let me know what you thought.
Add this to my article in "OHIO OUTDOOR NEWS" that I did a couple years ago I am at about the end of my 15 minutes of fame for one lifetime!
I plugged the TRADGANG site a couple of times during the interview but not sure if he can get it in the segment. We'll see?
So Joe, does that give me a minute or so of fame?
Will the TV station have a link to the segment?
very cool Joe, good job. Nice to have a little recognition.
Mark
a moment in the sun is a moment in the sun. you deserve it joe. any moment to promote traditional archery in any form, is a moment to be proud of. you are one of a handful of people, that i couldnt think of as a better candidate to promote classical archery. ruddy
Post a link to the video if you can. Should be fun to watch.
Joe, good for you. Congratulations! Jawge
I talked to Joe on the phone last night and he told me about the news clip and said I might be able to check it out at WSAZ.com and he said it would probably be on there wed.
We'll have to keep an eye out. Nice to know we got a celebrity in the bunch. LOL
Congrats Joe
:notworthy: :notworthy: When can we get auto-graphs?
Nice to hear the news is not all bad. Hope to see in on the web site. congrates,
Kelly
Good deal. We get WSAZ, so I'll be watching. An awesome opportunity for traditional bow making.
That's cool, Joe! I'm with Ricky... I'd like mine on a bow, please...LOL.
Ruddy is exactly right. You are a good spokes person.
Stan :notworthy:
Someone tape it or see if we can get it on u-tube or something to see it! 15 minutes almost up?! Heck, you're just getting started....way to go.
That was a fine interview Joe! You done yourself and the archery community PROUD. Some very nice bows and arrows you had there. You done good. Congratulations........Art
how did you find it artb
did anyone get a link or tape this?
I watched the 5:30-6:00 newscast on WSAZ TV as Joe suggested. I'm sure they have a news link.......Art
If you go here and search for "bows" you can see it. http://www.wsaz.com/
I tried that search and all I came up with was a story about coal miners. Did I do something wrong?
Go to the video search a little bit down the page on the right.
very, verycool, way to represent trad archery joe. :clapper: i just watched the vid. very cool. ruddy

Good Deal, Joe. Hope you are able to fill your tag before our season is over.
Finally found it. Great video. That was cool. You have some very nice bows.
Osage, great interview and even better looking Bows
Sweet. Nicely done. I sure you made many bowhunters rethink "how they do it". How cool is that?
Very nice interview, you did yourself and the sport of trad, proud.
Hey, thanks a bunch gang!
Understand, I was caught off guard and just had to throw some stuff on the bench and vice to try and make it somewhat interesting. Some of the good stuff was not even shown on TV.
Guess that's show biz! It was an experience I wont soon forget.
I truley hope I did the sport of archery well. Didn't really mean to poke at the wheelie bows as I did. But TRAD is a different form of satisfaction as you all know.
Thanks John, I couldn't find the link either until you chimed in. Your computer skills are as good as your bowyery! thanks.......
:clapper: I enjoyed that! good interveiw!
Great job
Joe,
Outstanding segment! Not only does it highlight selfbows but, more importantly it shows a hunter in a good light.
Sean
Great job on the interview I enjoyed watching, who knows maybe a couple kids were inspired by your words and are now wanting to take up the sport of traditional archery

Way to represent Joe!
Nice shop there and great collection of bows!
I really liked the shot where they showed the cane arrows and moved the focus from the fletching to the points as you explained the process. Kudos to the camera man there.
Well done sir!
