Hey guy's I came across this thought you guy's would like to watch some good info and watching I think it is 6 parts watch the "Uncut" ones
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWVrNbEMqRg&feature=channel
Mr. Scott makes a sweet stick..
Watched the first one, and it is very interesting
I watched them all a while ago. They are very good to watch for the begining bowyer to learn the basics. I really like the way he makes his osage sinew backed bows. With the flat bow look at first then the non bending tips. Very cool.
I got part 2 down I whish my internet was fater. 17min to watch and 17min to down load, but worth it.
I was lucky enough to meet Ed Scott at Cloverdale this past summer. He is an incredible man. I could have sat and talked to him about bow making for hours.
Yeah, I've watched those videos, too. He seems such a knowledgable and sincere gentleman. Scrub, you certainly did get lucky.

Thanks for the post, watching then is great.
Thanks! This guy is really good. Any of you have or know someone that has one of his bows?
Thanks for the link.....pretty cool I wasn't expecting it when he brought up the art work on the first bow in Part 2 about Meyers Springs.....I lived on that ranch for 12 years.
He is almost scary to watch with that axe. But he gets wood off and quick. I have only gotton thru 4 hope to get the next on soon.
Thanks for the link,
Kelly

I wish I had my camera with me. I would have loved to get a picture with him. He asked to look at me bow. He looked it over real good and gave me some suggestions to improve the next one I build. I talked to him for a while and then moved on. Several hours later when I was walking away from the vendors tent to leave, I heard someone call out my name. It was Mr. Scott. He waved and said bye. I was amazed that he remembered my name. There was probably a couple of hundred people there that had stopped and talked to him. Hopefully he is there again this year.
Just the chance to see some of his bows is worth the watch!
