Title: splicing glass
Post by: JamesV on January 07, 2011, 06:48:00 PM
I am building a kids bow for cheap. Got some short glass and need to splice it in the handle area under the overlay. will it hold?

Thanks guys...............James

Should not be a problem, especially if the splice is in the non bending part of the handle.  Plus the draw weight is going to be light.

A handle overlay is a good idea.  Mostly to keep from lifting a splinter when rubbing it with your hand.  It will add some extra (probably un-needed) strength also.
