Title: Tips for someone looking to get started.
Post by: Morning Star on January 01, 2011, 02:46:00 PM
Hey fellas',

Just finishing up building my wood shop and I look to start picking up some wood working tools later this year.
I'd like to build some 58" - 54" laminated recurves.  I'm just looking for some tips on getting started.  Anything to save me some learning curve headaches.  Maybe some links to some good threads you think might help this rookie.  Basically  anything  at all that would help me on my way.

Check out the build alongs here on TradGang. There are some folks that build terrific bows. I have some stuff on my site that could help you if you want to build a D/R-longbow.
