Title: Binghams Limb kit
Post by: SEMO_HUNTER on December 15, 2010, 11:30:00 AM
Do any of you all know if Binghams offers a limb kit only for the take down longbow that I want to build? If so, please direct me to it because I have searched their site and cannot find anything like I'm looking for. All I've been able to find is the entire bow building kits and not just the limbs themselves.

Thanks,
SEMO

That's great guys....Thanks!
And yes, I need both the limb kit and hardware.

Have you all used one of these kits before?

Just wondering if it comes with plans to build the laminating jig, and cement?

Binghams isn't real keen on telling you what all their kits consist of.

That may not be necassery for the guy who has built one of their products before, but for a guy like me who has never used a kit......it would be helpful info to have.

I'm going to finish up my take down Osage around the first of the year, or shortly there after and I'll let you all know what I decide to go with and how it turns out.

Thanks again for the help.

Curt, I just looked at some of your woods and now you got me rethinking my whole bow build.

That walnut/myrtle with accents is drop dead gorgeous!
Now I'm thinking for my next bow build once I'm done with the Osage is going to be a grey shadow color scheme. With laminated grey/black riser and a pair of those walnut/tiger myrtle core lams and outside clear Bo-tuff glass.
Man, that would be sweet!

You'll probably be hearing more from me after tax time!
