Should be a fine limb wood, coupled with edge grain red elm tho!
Rough ground the limbs, filed the nocks, sanded the limb corners so as not to lift any glass splinters, strung it and it pulls 52@28,lookin for 45,should come in just about right!
Still out on whether I like the hickory.......
I like it. Almost looks spalted. :wavey:
Come on Kenny show us the "dirty" pics. I'm sure it will be outstanding as usual.
Shawn
Looking good so far.......keep us posted!
Looking forward to seeing this one done and full drawn.
I think I agree with you on the Hickory. It's an amazing wood but for eye catching abilities our other domestic hardwoods have the edge. The shooting charactoristics should be very appealing, though.
still waitin on those pics!
Come On!

You said it is a "fast" bow. Is that how fast you had to build it or how fast it shoots? It looks fast!!! I like that hickory! I have some like it and people have said it might be pecan.
Great job as usual Kenny. Dirtyness is nice lookin.
Shawn
