Took a quick scan thru the Ashby reports and was unable to find the definitions for 'normal' and 'high' FOC arrows. Can anyone help me out? I am playing around with my arro set up during this off season.
Thanks in advance...
He defines them clearly. You just don't have the right document. I remember reading it. Sorry I don't recall but I can tell you it is in there. I am sitting her doing up some Beman MFX Classics for my 50 pound recurve. Looks like they will end up with a 250 grains up front on a 600 grain shaft at 30 1/2 inches to fly as close to perfect as I can get em.
Check out 2005 update part 2,
Normal 12%
high 12-19%
xtreme 19% or greater
My aluminum arrows are 18% FOC
My carbon arrows are 22% FOC
Spent ten minutes in the How To section on the Ashby reports and I can't find it now either. Sorry...I tried
Found it...Thanks for the help Gents.
