I have a small Osage log that was given to me last year. My questions are as follows. The log is 60" long total. The diameter is approximately seven inches. I was wondering if i could get a 45# draw weight bow from it. I also would like to know what style bow would be best considering size of material. I have pics on my pc but cant seem to add them to my post. I know the pics would help so if anyone can help me with that also, I would be grateful.
Thanks
Sam

sam very nice rings a lil charchter also if that sucker is 7 in across ya have enough for 2 bows and 60 should b no plm brock
That stave is 3 1/2" across the back. The log was about seven inches in diameter before I started splitting it into stave's.
With a stave like that, make anything you want. :D
I doubt it will make a bow. Just send it to me and I'll play with it:) LOL, wish you the best.
