Title: Free tip material via Home Depot
Post by: Dave Bowers on November 30, 2010, 12:01:00 PM
Hey all, just wanted to pass this along. I went into Home Depot today looking for some wood for a few handles. So I venture into the flooring dept and was looking at the hardwood flooring. I didn't find anything I could use for handles. But they did have free samples of hardwoods just the right size for using as tips.
I got some Brazilian cherry wood and some bamboo for free.

That's great, but be careful, not all Home Depots give away the samples.  My local Home Depot sells the "samples" for a couple of bucks a piece.  I would hate to see a Tradganger get picked up for shoplifting.
