Title: no shelf

Hi,
I would like to build a no shelf  take-down bow, any ideas, please?Thanks Mike.

That's easy. Start your limb flares at the end of the take down sleeve and add a floppy rest.

I love no shelf bows and have made a number of them.   I've also made a number of take downs... just never combined the two ideas.   I use the connexion hinge system, which to me is the easiest and I can't see any reason not to make one shelfless.   in fact, I'm sitting here thinking about converting my favorite one as I type... Don't know why I never thought to do it!   Pat B's idea with the sleeve would work, too, just a matter of which system you're more comfortable building to.

Try a take down kit from 3Rivers -   Take down kit (http://www.3riversarchery.com/Product.asp?c=49&s=82&p=0&i=4461X)  

This is an easy way to do what you are looking for.
