TBIII will release when it gets to 150deg(F). I use a heat gun to heat up the wood and a wood chisel to pry the pieces apart. Once you get it started it will seperate easily.

There are quite a few excellent glues for building wood bows. TBIII is cheap and readily available so it is used quite a bit. I wouldn't say it was the only glue to use though.

i didnt mean that its something fact , it just seems people either use urac , hide glue , or tb3. i was just reading an article comparing tb3 , old elmers , some urethane , and some epoxy... it was a furniture thing ...

basically all i see anyone really say is a few things , i dont hear about titebond urethane glue , or a whole lot about epoxies , nor do i see anyone laminating with hide glue...

didnt mean to hijack... i should have bought the 16oz tb4 at home depot the other day , it was only 6$...

Will, a quart of Urac185 is about $10.00's. It will beat the pants off of tb3. You will get at least 12 bows out of a quart.
