Title: Refinishing questions
Post by: Hawkman on October 24, 2010, 09:41:00 AM
I picked up an old Shakespear Wonderbow Model Trident X-25 45# 64 inch recurve.  It has some use marks on the handle and riser area and the limbs have some minor scuffs and scratches.  It is a real shooter and I want to make it pretty again.  How do I go about sanding it, and how do I save the limb decals and the writing and what not on the limbs?  I am a carpenter I work alot with wood and build alot of stuff from scratch. I am comfortable to dig into this thing, but how do I go about it without screwing it up mechanically? Ie: fiberglass mars I want gone?
Thanks,
Chris
