Is there a reson that these string's are not served on the loop end's?Would it not help to hold it together?
The way they are constructed eliminates the need for any serving. It is woven or braided back into itself.

endless loop strings are served that way as part of their construction and flemish twist strings can be served on the loops, just don't have to be. serving is usually for the protection of string where the arrow will knock on flemish twist strings. but you can "pad" the loops, especially if using fast flight.
If you want to pad the loops, its better to thicken them with more thread than to serve them. I did serve the flemish loops once, when I had way too much time in my hands, and it wasn't worth the trouble.
Besides, nothing looks cooler than the rope effect of the flemish string, why would you want to cover that up?
it's not that I would want to cover it up.it's curiosity,was it or not a practice used,seems to me it would help with holding it together.
It will never come apart, but you could serve it for looks.
Roy is right. Bowyers usually don't frill stuff up so serving the tag ends of your twist string would be overkill. Plus, they tend to come out all thick looking from the serving plus up to 28 strands of string. Don't get me wrong, I know an archer who I've made strings for who asks me to serve the tag ends cause he likes the way they look.
To each his own, so try it and see what you like.
