Title: 3 piece longbow

this ones ready for the spray finish. Its 60 incher built on a 17 inch riser and draws 47 lbs @ 28.  Riser is bocote and mesquite with phenolic accents overlays are cocobolo and the tips are black phenolic and cocobolo.  The limbs are culry black limba with some spalting and red elm cores and wedges.

Man I don't think I could hunt with a beauty like that. I mean if you keep looking at the bow how are you to see the deer!    :goldtooth:

Simply beautiful! I really like that one allot.  Where do you get the mesquite for the riser?

Thanks everyone I appreciate all the kind words.  The pics really dont do it justice the curly black limba really sets it off.  

@ Jess I get it when I go home to Texas and I'm lucky enough to be able to bring enough big logs back and it sits in my garage for about a year and then I get out the jointer and see what I can use.  

@ Kenny it will be about 2 AM when I roll through there but if your willing I am willing to stop and have some   :coffee:

looks nice! very nice and thats the poundage I like...I close the doors to my little shop in Sept when bow season starts...I'm gonna get started on a few in December or January. Hope you have a safe trip!
