Title: Actionwood or Dymondwood
Post by: BUCKY on October 18, 2010, 08:48:00 PM
My next longbow will have one of these risers. The bowyer uses both.I like the looks of Dymondwood but I have heard it can crack.Even though he has confidence in it I would like to hear from some of you on this.Should I be worried?

I have had great results with both. I would say the dymondwood is more likly to crack, just my thoughts and experience. Chad

I agree with Chad, it may be more likely to crack over actionwood but it's still not likely, just like any other wood, you never know.
