What a bow! And, the finish is like glass! WOW,,, NICE!
Looks like a winner to me.
Simply Gorgeous! I've yet to make an all wood bow and yours has inspired me to give it a real try. Thanks for sharing

Where do you get the hickory? I am wanting to start a new bow I have only made one red oak board bow and am wanting to step it up a little. Think a HBH would be right up my alley.
Thats a great looking bow!
Thanks alot I'll check out a few places I know one place where my father in law buys wood for fireplace mantles, I would think they'd have something there.
i keep looking at this , and i just love it more and more every time. i think im going to go looking for some hickory once the wife's is all done...

The back of your bow looks like glass. How did you get it so shiny? Beautiful bow by the way very inspiring!
How did you get the dark color? Did you stain before the tru-oil? Great looking bow!
well done on the finish, and the bow it's a beauty, I like the smooth curves, has to be a sweet shooter.

Wow!!! nice job on both deer and bow. Oh and next time push his tongue in
Wow that is fanastic great job on both
What are the dimensions of the bow, especially in the handle area. I have been thinking of a bendy handle bow am interested in the dimensions needed in different species.
Great looking bow, that obviously works real well. That deer is a beauty, especially off public lands. The pig can't be more than a couple of days old, by the size of it. Someone probably got some suckling pigs to grow for Christmas or something and the little guy got away. Good job removing him.
 :clapper:
Luv it when a plan comes together!
I really really really like your bow! haha... Everything about it shows a real attention to detail. I've tried several bows backed with hickory; 2 ipe and 1 hickory-cored. All three broke due to a failure in the backing. It kinda turned me off from hickory, but this bow makes me want to try it again. Thanks for posting!
