I was given a browning nomad that is covered in a sort of rubberized camo paint I have tried to peel it but it's very tough. Is there a solvent that would take it of with affecting the original fininh Ken
For regular camo paint I used WD-40 and steel wool.
For something rubberised not sure. Something like Acetone would probably eat into the other finish.
Might try a small spot and see. The original finish can be touched up or re applied with spray poly type finishes.
The gloss is the hardest finish for wear and then satin as a top coat to cut down glare.
