Sorry I hit the enter key before I was done. I'm building a take down long bow with a 15 in. riser and 62 in. ntn. My ? is can I take 1 in. off of each limb butt, the plans call for a 4 3/4 in. overlay on the riser, that would make it a 3 3/4 in. overlay on the limb tnen I won't have to shorten the sight window or cut into the top limb.
