Good Looking piece of work Sir,
Bet your buddy is going to be happy. The pigs not so much.
Whats not to like. awesome<><
Kenny, That is a beautiful bow I love the profile. I plan to build a new form during the winter months when it is too bad to hunt and your bow design really intrest me. How much stack thickness did you use to get the 44# @ 28" on a 58" bow? How long is the riser?
Thanks.............James
How is that new form working out?
60" has been what I shot all along.
The 64" is great that I have
I am sure he will like that one.
LoL need anymore buddies???? AWESOME bow you guys amaze me.
Excellent work Kenny ! Your buddy is a lucky man to have such a friend like you. Where can i apply to be on your friends list as well... d;-)
The profile looks awesome, i have to build me a new form like yours.

Wow, great looking bow Kenny! You are the man!
Thanks fellers!
James, I'll have to look in the book at shop, it has a builtin tipwedge and powerlam in one of the core lams(so I don't have to deal with the slippery boogers)
I'm thinkin .320 not countin the power lam. I measure thickness on that lam at center and add .018 cause it is a .001 taper. Confuse myself most times!
Tim, So far so good, I have thousands of shots thru the one that is goin elkin with me,no probs at all, have had it to 32" on the shootin machine a few times! :scared:
Marty, , hope the grip fits like you like, went off memory on that one! :D
:archer2:
Well If your buddy does not like I will take it. I'll even cover your shipping!!!
Sweet bow Kenny! Bet that's a hog killing machine!
Thats a beauty
kenny do you put those overlays on one at a time, i have been having trouble getting gaps under the bottom overlay when i try to to do them all at once. my pressure strip doesn't push down on them cause of the other accents... is the black glass or phenolic? i have been using glass...
Yes, 1 at a time on the handle area. Thought about making a form with about 1/4" extra hump in it and pre gluing em. Figured it would be more trouble that it was worth.
FWIW I preglued the tip overlays with CA with a pc of saran wrap right on the limb tip where they went. Then glued the whole overlay on the tips with smoothon when I did the center overlays. That worked pretty well.
Wonder if you could do em on the bow form with a fake riser with plastic between it and overlays?
Dang I live in Illinois....Excellent bow Kenny. Nice matchup on the belly overlays and great looking tips!
What a good friend ...NICE !!!!
Nice bow, Kenny. Your work is always impressive. I realy like your bow style.
Stan
i do the tips kinda like that. i wrap the bow in packing wrap then stack all my pieces together with smooth on. then cure it at about 120F under a light. the next day i pull them off then grind the tip so it blends in to the limb. i am always afraid grinding the blend on the limb. after they are blended i put them on the limb with smoothon again a low temp bake. i wonder if CA would cut it. my tips are pretty static to start.
Great looking bow buddy  :clapper:
Very nice looking bow!.........Randy
Sweet lookin' bow - love the accents on the riser!
Nice work Kenny!!
Nice looking bow Kenny!!..I bet she is fast.
Thanks again guys!!
No smokin feathers, but sweet to shoot IMO
Kenny, Very nice looking bow. Good job. Knifemaker
I received this beauty the other day, and I must say that I am very impressed! Great job buddy!
Always awesome work Kenny! I can smell the bar-b-q already!!
That is amazingly beautiful. I'm also mezmerized by what you veteran bowyers can do with wood, unreal.
I love the colors, and the way the bow just sweeps from tip to tip is smooth like silk. I bet it draws and shoots smooth too? It looks like it would.
Great Job!
