Title: Backwards risers?
Post by: chopx2 on August 14, 2010, 10:31:00 PM
So is it me or does it seem counter intuitive that risers are rounded out (convex) on the grip. Seems to me a flatter or even a slight depression or concave spot (below where you find the throat on a locator grip).

After all fleshy part of your thumb is rounded out. Would This provide more stability and less torque? Any one experiment with anything like this?

you would think yes , but even if its made for your hand , it can really be skewed easily. i did some carving on an axe handle just messing around , and i have finger grooves and complete contours , should match my hand perfectly.

hurts like hell to use now...
