Is there ash trees in Virginia. Does anyone know where I could get a couple of ash staves. I have a hankering to make an ash bow or two. Thanks,Don
Don, there should be ash trees in VA. As to where you can get an ash stave, I don't have a clue.
You might try looking for a hardwood distributor in tour area. I found a reasonably good supply of hardwood boards and square cut logs at a local hardwood warehouse. You might be able to pick up a piece cheap, that you could make a couple bows out of.Pup
