Like alot of you guys I can't finish one bow without dreaming of they next. I am just about to finish a turkish style hybreed (love the horse type bows, their small light and powerfull) this thing realy packs a punch, at just 60 in. its 68 lbs at 28 in draw a bit more than I can handle at full draw. I'll post some pics as soon as I get a new camera.
Anyway for my next bow I want to go high tec. use carbon and foam and what ever else I can find other than wood to make it, thinking of a RD take down long bow. Has anybody tried this or have suggestions on what I can use??

Bob, unfortunately your new design would not be appropriate to post here on PA. The horse bow would if it is made with natural materials.
Well Bob, I forgot where I was. You can post either of these bows here you wish. Sorry! d;^)
lol pat. bob i think that if you try to use materials such as carbon and foam you may have trouble finding anyone who can tell you what to expect, most here only use wood laminates, even when building fiberglass bows. its a good idea, and you could probably get one made successfully, though it may come in either way under or over weight.
